These Are Not Real Currency

Bill Jokes products are novelty gag cards. They are not, and are not intended to be mistaken for, legal tender of any kind. Nothing sold on this website is real money, counterfeit currency, or any instrument of financial value.

Our products are printed on standard cardstock — the same material used for business cards — and are designed purely as comedic novelty items intended to make people laugh, spark conversation, or express a point of view.

What You Are Actually Buying

Each Bill Jokes product is a double-sided printed novelty card with the following physical characteristics:

• Material: Standard 16pt cardstock — not currency paper, not security paper, not linen-cotton blend paper. The material is visually and texturally distinct from any U.S. currency.
• Size: 2.75" × 1.10" — a standard mini business card format. A genuine U.S. Federal Reserve Note measures 6.14" × 2.61". Bill Jokes cards are less than 45% of the length and less than 43% of the height of real currency, placing them well below the 75% size threshold established under 18 U.S.C. § 504, which governs reproductions of U.S. currency.
• Front side: The card's primary design — a humorous message, satirical statement, or comedic image.
• Back side: A novelty decorative design inspired by U.S. currency aesthetics, clearly and prominently marked with the following disclaimers printed directly on the card:
  • "THIS NOTE IS NOT LEGAL TENDER"
  • "THIS CARD IS FOR GAG PURPOSES ONLY"
  • An obviously non-standard serial number
  • Non-currency imagery (including cartoon elements not found on real currency)
• No security features: No watermarks, no holograms, no security threads, no color-shifting ink, no embedded strips — none of the anti-counterfeiting features present on genuine U.S. currency.
• No monetary denomination: Any numbers printed on the card carry zero monetary value.
• Wrong dimensions, wrong material, wrong construction — these cards cannot function as currency and are not designed to do so.

Below is the back side of every Bill Jokes card. It features a currency-inspired novelty design with clearly printed disclaimers, an obviously non-standard serial number, and cartoon imagery — none of which appear on genuine U.S. currency.

How These Cards Are Intended to Be Used

Bill Jokes cards are designed around a classic novelty "drop and discover" mechanic. The back of each card features a currency-inspired design that may cause someone to pick it up — at which point they immediately discover it is not real money but instead a humorous message, satirical commentary, or joke on the front.

The momentary surprise is the product. There is no sustained deception, no financial transaction, and no mechanism by which these cards could be used to defraud anyone.

• Novelty gag gifts and prank items
• Conversation starters
• Satirical commentary pieces
• Entertainment and humor products

Federal Compliance Statement

Bill Jokes products are designed and produced in compliance with applicable federal law governing reproductions of U.S. currency, including 18 U.S.C. § 504. Specifically:

• All cards measure less than 75% of the dimensions of any genuine U.S. currency denomination in both length and height.
• All cards are printed on standard cardstock, not paper or material resembling genuine currency.
• All cards are clearly marked as non-legal-tender novelty items, both in this disclaimer and directly on the physical product.
• Bill Jokes does not produce, sell, or distribute any item intended to be used as, passed as, or mistaken for genuine U.S. currency in any financial transaction.

Legal Notice

Attempting to pass any novelty item off as real currency is illegal under federal and state law and is explicitly not condoned by Bill Jokes in any way.

By purchasing our products, you acknowledge and agree that:

1. You understand the nature of what you are purchasing — a novelty gag card, not currency.
2. You will not use Bill Jokes products to deceive, defraud, or misrepresent them as legal tender in any transaction.
3. Any misuse of Bill Jokes products beyond their intended novelty and entertainment purpose is solely your responsibility.
